Bora Isletme Danismanligi Ltd. Sti. (Bora Management Consulting Ltd.) was established as Izmir's first management consulting company on the 5th of May 1991. Bora’s main effort was directed to advising small to medium size companies about organizing various company functions and synchronizing them to re-organized corporate structures.

In 1994 Bora started to offer consulting services on Quality Assurance Systems to meet the demands of the highly competitive world markets. The first ISO 9000 implementation studies were conducted for Sun Textile Ltd. In 1994 and for Gabay Ltd. in 1995.

Due to the success Bora became a major consultant service provider to textile, food and tanning companies in the area of Izmir.

1995 was an attack year, personnel wise as well as project wise. We began to expand our field of operation and added three industrial engineers to our staff. In the following year another two food-processing engineers joined our team so that we were able offer service for HACCP and QA Systems.

In 1997 a statistics expert joined our team and we received certification as international management consultants from Luso consulting under the sponsorship of the World Bank and we started “Search Conference” studies for mission strategy and corporate target determination for our clients.

Bora continued to expand its portfolio of food, textile, paints, computer and mining companies, mainly in the region of Aegean. In the years 1997 and 1998 Bora developed several training programs that are mainly designed to meet the needs of Total Quality Management.

In 1998 Bora also contracted as a solution provider for SAP, the most popular ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) program in the world. In addition, Bora established a strategic alliance with Dekra, to ensure the high standard of consulting services.

1999 was also an attack year for Bora as it expanded its operation to several wind generator projects located in West Turkey so that the number of employees raised to 15.
