Towers

Triangular Lattice Towers:

Our triangular lattice (truss) towers are composed of 3 m. long segments. The segments have an equilateral-triangular cross-section. The three legs of the towers are made of 28 mm. diameter iron pipe of 2 mm. thickness, with a center-to-center distance of 330 mm. The truss bars are made of 10 mm. diameter solid iron. The segments are joined each other by strong couplings located at both ends of every leg. Top and bottom segments have special shapes. The top segment contains a protruding 3 m. pole whose protrusion length can be varied by the fastening bolts. The bottom segment rests on a base plate. Each segment weighs around 22 kg. The finished construction is galvanized and then painted in white and red colors in alternating order. Other colors might also be applied depending on the customer preference.

The towers are guy-wired in three directions. Anchoring of the guy wires on ground may be realised either by constructing concrete bases or by using iron-stakes. The 20 m long towers have 3 guy wires and 30 m. long towers have 4 guy wires in all three direction (on a single circle), and 40 m. long towers have 5 guy wires and 50 m. long towers have 6 guy wires in all three direction (on two concentric circles).

The towers can optionally be equipped with aviation light, safety fence, etc. Optionally they are delivered with a heavy gauge lightning arrestor system (16 mm diameter solid copper arrestor and earthing rods and 10 mm diameter copper earthing cable).

Standard Material are:

triangular lattice tower segments, including special top and bottom segments,
an adjustable 3 m. pole at the top segment,
base plate,
iron anchors for the base plate and guy wires (to be placed into soil or concrete base),
light-weight lightning arrestor system,
guy wires and guy-wire clamps,
booms for all the equipment to be installed on the tower (designed as requested),
a sharp-pointed safeguard on the tower to prevent climbing of unauthorized people,
consumable material such as hose clamps, zipstrips, etc.

Optional Accesories Ýnclude:

steel shelter cabinet for the logger,
aviation light,
fencing around the tower and/or guy-wire anchors,
ginpole,
safety cables and harness to climb the tower,
hoisting winch (tir-for),
heavy gauge lightning arrestor system,
special orders.
