What is Quality Control System?
While the borders of commerce between countries have getting thinner, competition becomes harder and harder day by day. The most important condition of competing through world markets is that supplying better-qualified goods or services with lower prices than other firms do. This will be possible only with institutionalize the firm, and then establishing and implementing the quality control system. Since we try to integrate to European Union and sell our products in the markets all over the world, we have to comprehend, modify and implement the quality control systems, which are required all over the world. So we have to link this quality control system to the standardization, which are prepared by ISO. Studies that are base of quality control standards are devoted to meet requirements of quality in product / service / planning / production stages and made for proving that they meet those requirements in a planned system.
Although well-qualified goods were preferred, there were always possibilities to sell in every quality of goods in past times. But after developed countries made into the rule common quality standards, there is no more possibility to sell goods in foreign markets.

What is ISO 9000 ?
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) published ISO 9000 Quality Control Systems after they scrutinized some standards such as BS 5750, Mil-Q-9858 that are used in UK and USA for firms and organizations in 1987. ISO 9000 is used in many countries at the moment. While in some countries these standards are a preference reason, they are compulsory especially in developed countries.

What is CE?
European Union is one of the unions that use ISO 9000 standardization. As we mentioned before, ISO 9000 Standardization is for firms and organizations. European Union also has created some standards for some products and product groups in its own. CE is given to products that meet the determined standards and standard groups. CE --------------------------------- In order to have CE periods of passing of various groups of products and last passing dates are valid. After last passing dates the products that do not have CE cannot pass into European Community Countries and EFTA Countries.
